Sabah KFC contributes RM22,000 to six charitable homes

KOTA KINABALU: KFC (Sabah) Sdn Bhd has contributed a total ofRM22,000 to six charitable homes yesterday in conjunction with the coming Christmas celebrations.

The recipients were Sabah Society for the Deaf, Sabah Society for the Blind, Yayasan Taiwan Buddhist Tzu Chi Malaysia, St. Theresa Hostel Kota Marudu, Emmanuel Home and Taman Didikan Kanak-Kanak Kurang Upaya Sembulan.

The representatives from the charitable homes received the contributions from KFC public relation and catering manager Datin Anna Au-Fernandez; human resource & administrative manager Annie Lee and regional coach Godfrey Binting at KFC Bandaran Berjaya here yesterday.

The donations part of the company social corporate responsibility are derived from the company Tabung Penyayang KFC programme where the funds are collected from the communities in Sabah through the sales Chicky Meal where in each transaction ten cents would be put aside.
