Agong consents to appointments of EAIC commissioners

KUALA LUMPUR: The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has given his consent to the appointment of three commissioners to the Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC).

In a statement today, the Prime Minister’s Office said the appointments of Tan Sri Mahmood Adam, Tan Wira Aziah Ali and Datuk Alizatul Osman Khairuddin were in accordance with subsection 5(1) of the EAIC Act 2009 (Act 700).

“They were appointed for a three-year term effective Nov 1.

“Their appointments into the EIAC complete the existing line-up headed by Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan (chairman), Tan Sri Zainun Ali (deputy chairman), Datuk John Louis O’Hara and Prof Nik Ahmad Kamal Nik Mahmood,” read the statement.
